As the landlord the REIT is effectively a secured creditor. Not only that I cannot think of a single situation of a landlord voluntary granting a rent reduction to a tenant outside of a bankruptcy.... login to read the rest -2 view available tags

yes - in fact I would assume that in a bankruptcy scenario it would be renegotiated. However, in my opinion, I would guess that the discount would not be close to what the unsecured debt view available tags
